Job Summary
Diagnose system faults and rectify faults on customer vehicles, including major electrical, engine, and mechanical repairs, while returning systems to manufacturer specification. Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to fault find items relevant to the franchise brand and perform road tests after work is completed. Meet and discuss vehicle repairs with customers when necessary, ensuring Vehicle Health Check video completion meets targets and exceeds all KPIs. Mentor apprentices and coach less experienced team members to support productivity targets.
Required Qualifications
- Full UK drivers' licence
- Own tools
- Technical knowledge to allow you to confidently and safely carry out repairs and maintenance of customer vehicles
- Capability and confidence in using systems and equipment within the workshop
- Experience within a franchise dealer working to the highest quality standards
- Experience of working to productivity targets
- Working as part of a team to achieve the best results for the customer
- Qualified by experience in post or Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Ability to Mentor & Coach apprentices and support less experienced team members
Desired Qualifications
- Developed a technical skill set within a franchised dealer environment
- Trained to diagnostic or master technician levels
- Experience working for an experienced franchise Service Leader
