Job Summary
The Plant Manager directs manufacturing operations, overseeing a team of functional leaders to ensure satisfaction for both customers and employees while improving efficiency. Responsibilities include coordinating plant activities, managing multiple plants, and providing leadership in lean manufacturing, quality improvement, safety compliance, financial budgeting, and long-term strategic planning. Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field, 7-10 years of management experience in manufacturing, and specific knowledge of ISO standards.
Required Qualifications
- 7-10 years of progressive management experience in a manufacturing plant environment
- 5 years’ experience as Plant Manager in a manufacturing facility
- Knowledge and experience managing manufacturing under ISO standards (9000, 14000, 45001)
- Skills in kaizen/5S/lean manufacturing techniques, quality cost reduction, on-time delivery, EH&S, customer satisfaction, employee relations and engagement, communication, plant performance measures
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s degree
- Six Sigma certification
