Job Summary
Provide technical support and hands-on repair and diagnostic services on motor operated valves (MOVs). Perform MOV refurbish activities including preventative and corrective maintenance, actuator regrease, electrical equipment removal/installation, and valve position limit switch setup on Motor Operator Actuators (Emerson Electric Actuation, Limitorque, Rotork). Conduct troubleshooting to identify root causes and return actuators to proper operating condition. Work with pneumatic actuation knowledge and valves; document incoming items for shop repair, survey, photo, and enter job to open order log. Dispatch to customer sites for onsite work, perform onsite walk-downs to scope repair requirements and recommend repair options. Maintain safety credentials, follow procedures, and communicate with supervision, team members, customers, and salespeople. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work both outdoors and indoors in varied environmental conditions with PPE as required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have 3 years' experience in MOV refurbishment.
- Must be able to meet customer requirements for onsite access: background and safety requirements.
