Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Motor Grader Operator to join our road, bridge, and highway construction team. The operator will be responsible for operating a motor grader to perform tasks such as grading and leveling surfaces, maintaining roads, clearing debris, and preparing sites for further construction work. Key responsibilities include operating motor graders to level surfaces, performing routine inspections, collaborating with project managers, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining work logs.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Motor Grader Operator in road, bridge, or highway construction (minimum of 2-5 years).
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and physical environments.
- Must comply with company’s drug and alcohol abuse policy.
- Must be able to pass physical examination, pre-employment if necessary, and as required by the company.
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, construction plans, and grade stakes.
- Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operations and safety procedures.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a team.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment issues.
Additional Requirements
- Must be local to the Waco, TX project or within 30 miles from project site.
