Motor Grader Operator

Operate motor grader in a safe, efficient manner per safety standards to level subgrade in road construction. Align machine, cutterhead or depth gauge with reference stakes, attach blades or attachments as needed, and conduct routine equipment inspections with grease and oil. Knowledge of reading and interpreting plans and specifications; GPS experience is a plus; grading experience preferred. Must read engineering drawings, follow instructions, judge distances and slopes accurately, and work in dusty or dirty surroundings. Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds (frequent lifting up to 25 pounds) and bending/crouching as needed. High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience; proper certification required.
