Job Summary
Provide safe, punctual, and consistent daily deliveries of motor fuel and bulk propane to residential and commercial customers while adhering to industry safety standards. Perform necessary vehicle and trailer inspections, including daily checks, and complete all required compliance and company training. Deliver courteous and efficient customer service across all interactions. Operate outdoors in all weather conditions, lifting up to 75 pounds and managing delivery hoses up to 175 feet. Maintain a clean driving record with a valid Class B CDL and Hazardous Materials endorsement. Work the 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Friday shift with flexibility for occasional weekends, overtime, and on-call assignments.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of one-year Class B CDL experience preferably in delivery of bulk propane, fuel oil or other hazardous materials
- A current valid CDL license which must contain valid Hazardous Materials (H) and Tank Vehicle (N) endorsements
- An (X) combination endorsement may be substituted for an (H) and (N) endorsement
- License may not contain any Air Brakes (L) or (Z) Restriction(s)
- Clean and safe driving record in full compliance with all DOT licensing requirements
- A Safe driving record
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and driving conditions
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds at times throughout the day as well as bend, climb, reach, & rotate as needed
- Also must be able to pull up to a 175 ft. delivery hose through various terrains and during changing weather conditions
- Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be a detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Currently available shift of 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM Monday to Friday with some Saturday / Sunday shifts as needed due to demand
- Availability during Holidays as per the Company Schedule
Desired Qualifications
- Mechanically inclined skills (preferred but not required)
- Experience with hand tools, power tools and test equipment
- Basic troubleshooting, problem solving and diagnostic skills
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
