Job Summary
Motor Assessor role assessing motor claims, applying manufacturer-approved repair methods to determine fair settlements, and ensuring compliant, cost-effective, high-quality outcomes. You’ll build relationships with members, repairers and internal teams while upholding regulatory requirements, industry standards and customer expectations. Requires 3–5 years in motor assessing or related trades, trade qualifications in panel beating/spray painting/motor mechanics, strong knowledge of repair practices, excellent communication, problem-solving and negotiation skills, and a valid Australian driver’s licence. Hybrid working arrangement based in Eight Mile Plains, Meanjin (Brisbane).
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years’ relevant experience in motor assessing or a related trade environment
- Trade qualifications and technical experience in panel beating, spray painting or motor mechanics
- Strong knowledge of motor repair industry practices and assessment methodologies
- A valid Australian driver’s licence
