Job Summary
Senior UX/UI Designer responsible for leading end-to-end design for fintech SaaS products, conducting advanced user research and usability testing, mentoring junior designers, and developing scalable UI components and design systems. Will collaborate with product managers and engineers to implement designs, advocate accessibility, create motion design micro-interactions, and use data-driven insights to improve user experience and drive business impact. Requires 3+ years in a senior product design role, mastery of visual design, information architecture, interaction design, mobile/web proficiency, knowledge of behavioural psychology, UX analytics, and Figma; fintech/SaaS experience; remote-friendly culture; leadership in design.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years in a senior product design role
- strong focus on UX and ability to lead projects
- Mastery of visual design, typography, grids, layout, colour theory
- Expertise in interaction design, information architecture, user flows
- Experience designing for mobile and web with responsive/adaptive UX
- Knowledge of behavioural psychology in design
- Experience conducting usability testing, interviews, heuristic evaluations
- Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights
- Familiarity with UX analytics tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Hotjar)
- Proficiency in atomic design principles and scalable UI frameworks
- Strong knowledge of motion design tools (Lottie, After Effects, Principle)
- Experience mentoring junior designers
- Ability to articulate design rationale and influence stakeholders
- Comfortable in agile product teams
- Figma mastery with auto layout, tokens, components, prototypes, scalable libraries
- Experience in fintech and/or SaaS
- Portfolio demonstrating impact
- Fintech/SaaS domain familiarity
