Job Summary
Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities for young children while ensuring their safety and well-being. Teach Bible stories, songs, and prayer to foster spiritual growth aligned with Christian values. Prepare materials for crafts and maintain a welcoming classroom environment that reflects organizational principles. Assist children during lunch and snack times, supervise play activities, and communicate regularly with parents regarding progress and behavior. Work collaboratively with other staff to support consistent routines. Schedule runs Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00am to 4:00pm.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1 year experience in a teaching capacity
- Capacity to adapt lesson plans and activities based on the individual needs and interests of the children and any unexpected changes or challenges that may arise
- Strong organizational skills to plan and manage classroom routines, materials, and resources effectively
- Ability to remain calm, patient, and understanding, especially in challenging situations, and to empathize with children's feeling and perspectives
- Personal commitment to the Christian Faith
- Support for Israel
- Dedication to the organization's vision and a passion to its success and impact
