Job Summary
Conduct MOT tests on various vehicles, performing diagnostics, servicing, and repairs for all makes and models. Handle brakes, tyres, and wheel alignment while inspecting components like lights, steering, and exhaust systems. Use hand and power tools to adjust vehicles, document test results, and complete maintenance records. Stay updated on MOT regulations and maintain health and safety standards throughout the store. Assist with stock checks and additional administration duties as required.
Required Qualifications
- Experience within a fast-fit car centre or a recognised vehicle franchise dealership
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools
- A valid MOT Tester licence
- Vehicle technician qualification and relevant experience
- A full driver's licence with no more than 9 points
