Job Summary
Supervise MOT crews, ensure proper PPE use, and oversee traffic control setup and removal including lane closures and flagging operations. Coordinate trucking with drivers, load necessary tools and equipment, and meet project point-of-contact details before operations. Transport equipment and signs using company vehicles while maintaining a clean worksite and adjusting strategies based on site conditions. Complete daily paperwork including DHA forms, logs, and truck inspections; report equipment loss or low inventory to management. Install ground-mounted traffic signs and understand underground utility markings to ensure safe hand tool operation. Follow all safety procedures, report hazards, and participate in manager meetings on company policies.
Required Qualifications
- FDOT Advanced MOT Certification or ATSSA certification
- Valid Driver's License with a safe driving record
- Previous supervisory or lead experience in traffic control, MOT operations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching
- Flexible schedule, including availability for nights, weekends, and extended shifts (10+ hours)
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check, motor vehicle record (MVR) review, and drug screening
