Job Summary
Field Technician responsible for driving to clients’ homes and businesses, inspecting yards for conditions conducive to pest infestations, applying control products with a backpack sprayer, creating protective barriers around homes, educating clients on prevention, supporting local marketing efforts, and delivering a positive, professional customer experience in outdoor settings. The role emphasizes outdoor work, customer service, and the ability to work in varying weather conditions, with a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Prior pest control or outdoor-labor experience, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to obtain a state pest control licensing exam are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Have proof of insurance (if required)
- Be able to lift at least 45 pounds and carry a backpack sprayer
- Enjoy working outdoors and being on the move
- Communicate well with clients and teammates
- Be dependable and self-motivated
- Be willing to take a state pest control licensing exam
