Mosquito Control Technician

Job Summary
Mosquito Control Technician responsibilities include inspecting and treating for mosquitoes, fleas, ticks and other outdoor pests for residential and commercial customers to make outside fun again, maintaining chemical and operational records per state requirements, handling pesticides safely per state and federal regulations, following a route schedule for timely, safe arrivals, and communicating with customers about additional services to meet their needs. The role emphasizes outdoor work, field service, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards, with training provided and potential growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Valid and current certification/license as required by the state for the commercial application of pesticides (may also qualify to complete the certification/licensing program during initial training)
- Valid driver’s license with safe driving record
- Some basic math skills — add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Complete pesticide certification requirements and complete continuing education requirements
