Mortgage Warehouse Operations Specialist

Job Summary
Oversee loan-level exceptions and provide approval feedback, then process manual wire requests and funds transfers using bank wire and warehouse lending collateral systems. Support pool settlement verification, FHLMC 996s, MERS reporting, and loan transactions including curtailments, paydowns, and advances. Perform closing agent setups, post-closing verifications, and research client requests while processing incoming loan settlements and wire identification. Assist in end-of-day close out reconciliation, daily GL balancing, and daily/monthly management reporting. Maintain data integrity across collateral systems, bank core systems, and operational databases. Provide customer service support for online banking access requests and password resets, troubleshoot system issues, and contribute to process improvement initiatives. Requires 2+ years in financial operations and evening shift availability from 11:00 PM to 7:00 PM Eastern Time.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in financial operations, wire processing, or banking operations
- Familiarity with wire systems, settlement processes, and reconciliation
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Professional communication skills (verbal and written)
- Due to operational and end‐of‐day processing requirements, this role will work an approximate schedule of 11:00 PM – 7:00 PM Eastern Time
