Job Summary
Advise loan customers on program risks and benefits to place them in suitable lending solutions. Solicit loan applications from prospective borrowers, real estate brokers, builders, attorneys, and title agencies within your assigned territory. Regularly visit these partners to explain new mortgage products, maintain business relations, and keep them abreast of applicant status and production numbers. Deliver quality applications to processing and underwriting while obtaining all pertinent transaction data. Market subsidiary products including casualty and property insurance to assist in delivery. Maintain complete records of all solicitations and ensure rate locks and registrations are completed accurately and timely. Adhere to all federal and state lending laws and policies.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum three (3) years prior experience
- Be registered with the NMLS and must adhere to the requirements of the SAFE Act
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to analyze data and exercise discretion and judgment in making decisions which affect the Bank and or its subsidiaries
- Ability to interpret government regulations and mortgage loan documents
- Ability to promote the Bank's financial products and services and advise as to the appropriate financial product(s) to correspond to their financial needs
- Time management skills
- Ability to travel
- Travel is essential
Desired Qualifications
- Bi-lingual is a plus
