Job Summary
Lead a Mortgage Sales team of at least 6 Mortgage Loan Originators (MLOs) and originate mortgage loans to meet loan production office goals. Responsibilities include recruiting and training the team, developing and executing growth plans and strategies, managing the pipeline, and maintaining referral networks with Realtors, builders, professionals, and personal contacts. Ensure compliance with governing requirements (SAFE Act) and bank policies; participate in mortgage meetings and training; occasional travel between Republic Banking facilities; flexible scheduling including evenings/weekends/overtime. Strong verbal and written communication, sales leadership, problem solving, and decision-making skills are required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years mortgage banking experience preferred
- Three years previous supervisor experience required
- NMLS registration required*
- Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship)
