Job Summary
Mortgage Sales Manager based in Southern California leads and grows mortgage loan production. Develops, leads, and originates mortgage loans through branches, realtors, and builders; motivates a direct-report sales team to achieve production milestones; collaborates with operations and department leaders to ensure smooth processes; manages a team of MLOs to meet sales goals and key metrics; identifies strategies to drive loan volume and market share; takes and processes loan applications; responds to referrals and coordinates with loan processors; supports underwriting information gathering and cross-sells additional financial products; maintains compliance with industry laws and internal policies. Preferred candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree (MBA or Master’s preferred) with 5+ years of lending experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience; MBA or Master’s preferred
- 5+ years of lending experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
- Composure under pressure and in high-stakes situations
