Job Summary
Mortgage Retail Sales Consultant (SAFE) at Wells Fargo in Consumer Lending within Home Lending. In this role you will solicit residential mortgages from various sources, produce high quality loans with compliance, build relationships with realtors, builders, financial professionals, bank stores, past customers, and other sources, stay informed of mortgage industry trends in the assigned market, present loan recommendations, analyze customer financial data to match needs with appropriate loan programs, communicate Wells Fargo Home Mortgage programs and procedures, receive applications, quote rates, and complete follow-up activities, understand real estate appraisals/title reports/transactions, and pursue training to increase product knowledge and underwriting understanding. The position requires SAFE registration and compliance with related regulations, with ongoing background checks and eligibility requirements; relocation and scheduling may include nights/weekends/holidays as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of Mortgage Retail Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education
