Job Summary
Bridge Loan Specialist combines traditional processing and underwriting responsibilities to review Knock Bridge Loans for completeness and regulatory compliance, condition loan files, provide timely status updates, and communicate with lending partners, agents, and borrowers. Responsibilities include reviewing title and insurance to ensure lien position, managing a daily loan pipeline, staying current with company policies and industry regulations, mentoring teammates, and supporting ad-hoc projects. Requires prior Mortgage Loan Processing or Underwriting experience, strong analytical and decision-making abilities, exceptional written and verbal communication, and proven success working 100% remotely. Compensation is a $70,000 annual base with fully remote U.S.-based eligibility; benefits and remote-friendly culture are highlighted.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Successful experience working as a Senior Mortgage Loan Processor or Junior Underwriter
- Strong knowledge of various loan products, credit reports, and debt-to-income ratios
- Ability to thrive in a remote environment and collaborate with a distributed national team
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
