Job Summary
Own your files from submission through closing, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and speed throughout every stage of the loan process. Review new loan submissions for completeness and accuracy, then communicate proactively with borrowers, loan officers, investors, and contractors to gather missing items and resolve conditions. Prepare files for underwriting by verifying income, assets, liabilities, credit, and property documentation while managing your active pipeline to track milestones and ensure timelines are met. Identify potential issues early to prevent delays and maintain detailed notes in the LOS for complete visibility. Deliver an exceptional experience for homeowners and loan officers by balancing speed with precision, while supporting continuous improvement through feedback on systems and workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of mortgage processing experience
- Willing to communicate by telephone with internal and external customers
- Strong knowledge of Agency, Non-QM, Portfolio, FHA, VA, and renovation loan products and guidelines
- Familiarity with loan origination systems
- Proven ability to manage multiple files simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and compliance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational ability
