Job Summary
Process mortgage and equity loan files from application through closing, including file maintenance, preparation of required disclosures, ordering third-party services, and coordinating closing documentation. Collect, review, and verify loan documentation for completeness and accuracy while responding to member inquiries regarding new applications and loans in process. Ensure compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements by supporting mortgage and equity lending guidelines and assisting branch staff with training and guidance. Complete final file maintenance for withdrawn or denied applications and prepare fee documentation for accounting. Identify opportunities to refer members to GSCU products and services while working collaboratively to achieve departmental goals. This hybrid role requires some in-office processing with a schedule coordinated in advance.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, including Word and Excel
- Working knowledge of mortgage lending practices
- Working knowledge of TRID disclosure requirements
- Working knowledge of secondary market guidelines (including Fannie Mae)
- Prior mortgage processing or related lending experience
