Job Summary
Review application files to verify data completeness and meet underwriting requirements. Collaborate with borrowers, loan officers, and third-party vendors to request documentation and confirm borrower information. Manage the complex loan pipeline to prioritize workflows and ensure milestone service levels are met. Submit complete loan files to underwriting for approval while serving as the primary point of contact throughout the process. Navigate customer relationship software, loan operating systems, and third-party websites to obtain necessary documentation. Requires minimum two years of mortgage industry experience, Encompass Software proficiency, and ability to work under frequent interruptions with high confidentiality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum two years of experience in the mortgage loan industry
- Strong knowledge of banking industry practices relative to bank loan operations with respect to mortgage loan products, services, policies, and procedures
- Must have strong computer skills and proficiency with loan industry software
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- A high level of initiative, thoroughness, and accuracy
- Solid communication and organizational skills with focus on teamwork
- Ability to work under deadlines with frequent interruption
- Ability to balance multiple projects/activities with varying deadlines
- High level of confidentiality
- Work involves lifting and moving loan files of up to 30 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Encompass Software System experience preferred
