Job Summary
Generate profitable, high-quality residential mortgage loans by building and maintaining relationships with community members and clients. Evaluate, authorize, and recommend approval of mortgage loans, advising borrowers on their financial condition and repayment options. Explain loan structures (amount, rates, term, amortization) and ensure customers are updated through all stages of origination, processing, appraisal, underwriting, and closing. Must work on-site in Russellville, AR; strong knowledge of local real estate market and proficiency with Encompass, Outlook, Word, Excel, typing, 10-key, and internet navigation. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to bank guidelines; regular 40-hour workweek with potential extended hours.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s degree required, emphasis in business finance preferred
- NMLS required
- 2-3 years Mortgage Originator experience highly preferred
