Job Summary
Monitor appraisal requests and ensure submissions are addressed within established service timelines. Review loan files for accuracy, completeness, and required borrower documentation. Initiate and manage third-party vendor orders and related processing activities. Open and fund Membership Savings Accounts for borrowers who are not existing Metro members. Process initial disclosures and Change of Circumstance (COC) in accordance with regulatory requirements. Communicate with Mortgage Sales and Operations partners to resolve file discrepancies and escalate compliance concerns. This role ensures loan files move efficiently through the pipeline with minimal delays due to missing documentation. Success includes consistently meeting service-level expectations for loan setup, appraisal, and disclosure queues while maintaining strong partnerships with third-party vendors.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year of related administrative, mortgage, banking, or financial services experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
- Minimum 3 day per week in office
- New hires must be onsite 5 days per week during onboarding
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent strongly preferred
- Minimum one year of related administrative, mortgage, banking, or financial services experience preferred
- Previous mortgage lending, loan processing, or mortgage operations experience
- Familiarity with mortgage disclosures and regulatory requirements
- Experience reviewing documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Credit union or banking experience
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
