Job Summary
Mortgage Occupancy Field Inspectors are responsible for performing residential property inspections on behalf of mortgage lenders, determining property occupancy, reporting general property conditions, and conducting inspections which may require interior access. Inspectors must effectively manage their time to complete inspections within a 3-5 day turnaround. Position requires driving, use of a mobile app for documentation, and consistent communication with inspection managers. Contractors earn $15-$20 per hour based on location and number of inspections, with payments made weekly.
