Job Summary
Ship FHA, VA, Conventional, Rural Development, and state Bond loans to investors daily via electronic transfer and certified mail. Prepare daily reports for manager monitoring and perform research on bank systems while working directly with mortgage loan officers and closers. Refer customers to bank personnel as needed and identify cross-sell opportunities. Complete required BSA/AML and compliance training annually. Utilize 10-key, accounting, and database systems to ensure timely loan purchases according to investor guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- High school or GED
- Specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area; e.g. data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation, etc
- 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training
- Ability to read and understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
- Ability to utilize common sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral or diagrammed instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving several known variables in situations of a routine nature
