Job Summary
Coordinate mortgage and home equity loan files from application through closing by obtaining borrower documentation, organizing files, and uploading investor packages. Serve as the primary point of contact for members via phone, online, and in person to address inquiries about mortgage products and services. Process applications from branch offices, review title reports to verify lien positions, and coordinate attorney closings while ensuring compliance with regulatory and investor guidelines. Support mortgage loan officers by scheduling appointments and assisting with member pre-qualification. Maintain current knowledge of lending trends and participate in continuing education. Cross-sell credit union products by identifying member needs and assist other department members as required.
Required Qualifications
- Six months to two years of similar or related experience with knowledge of mortgage lending processes and procedures and secondary market procedures
- A high school education
- Strong interpersonal skills

Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in consumer lending
