Job Summary
Process mortgage loan applications by assessing documents, coordinating with originators and underwriters, and gathering submissions for investors. Review files to ensure Mavent compliance, issue TBD pre-approvals, and clear underwriting conditions while managing a pipeline of 25+ conventional files monthly. Send initial closing disclosures, create wire orders, and review final documents for funding. Requires three years of first mortgage processing experience, Encompass LOS proficiency, and ability to oversee multiple deadlines. Occasional travel, site reviews in varying weather, and lifting up to 20 pounds. Stay current on investor guidelines through required seminars.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of first mortgage loan processing experience
- Ability to oversee a pipeline of 25+ conventional files per month
- At least 1 year of experience with Encompass LOS software
- Excellent oral, written and listening skills
- Ability to oversee multiple work deadlines on several projects simultaneously
- Team oriented with the ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines
- Adaptable to workflows of the mortgage industry
- Stay up to date with investor's loan products and underwriting guidelines
- Attendance of seminars and workshops
- Occasionally remaining in a stationary position which may be standing or sitting for a prolonged period of time
- Occasional travel or moving from one office location to another or from one department to another at the headquarters building
- Occasional lifting, moving, or adjusting objects up to 20 pounds
- Constant communication with others through various channels including verbal, email, and chat
- Consistent use of a keyboard and mouse or another electronic device
- Work in a commercially reasonable temperature-controlled environment
- Occasional temporary exterior site review which could be in outdoor elements of wind, rain, or snow
