Job Summary
Mortgage Loan Processor needed to manage the processing and closing of real estate loans at a community bank in Iowa. Responsibilities include completing all documents for processing and closing, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring compliance with deadlines, and delivering professional, customer-focused service. Must be able to work independently and collaboratively, communicate effectively with customers and vendors, and adapt to changing priorities while upholding confidentiality and integrity.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associates Degree preferred
- Two (2) or more years of experience in banking preferred
- Two (2) or more years of experience with real estate lending preferred
- Ability to develop, foster, and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse group of people within the organization as well as with external customers and vendors
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Ability to work maintaining composure under the stress of deadlines and changing priorities
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Internet and PC proficiency; ability to learn, understand, and assimilate new technology knowledge
