Job Summary
Manage the full mortgage loan lifecycle by taking applications, structuring scenarios, running credit, and pre-approving clients while coordinating weekly pipeline meetings with Loan Originators. Submit complete applications after verifying all checklist items, track documents in Encompass, and review received documentation within 24 hours for discrepancies, income verification, and asset validation. Maintain contact with borrowers and realtors weekly to provide status updates, order title commitments and appraisals, and resolve file issues immediately upon discovery. Ensure files meet policy standards, meet contract and rate lock deadlines, and verify closing conditions with the underwriter before finalizing the closed package.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Five years of conventional fixed and ARM, HELOC and construction mortgage loan processing experience
- Extensive knowledge of VA and FHA products
- Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office
- Prior experience on Encompass LOS system or other mortgage processing software
- DU, LP and other automated engine submissions experience
- A federal registration through Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS)
