Job Summary
Manage borrower prequalification and pre-approvals, oversee pipeline, and coordinate with Loan Officers, processors, underwriters, and referral partners to maintain 95%+ on-time closings. Deliver concierge-level borrower and referral partner experience while ensuring loans are structured properly and closed on time. Requires active NMLS license and 5+ years in mortgage loan roles; collaborate across Realtors, financial advisors, builders, and partners; responsibilities include prequalify, pre-approve, pipeline onboarding and rate-lock/disclosures communications. Job is based in Houston, TX with in-office duties and strong emphasis on accuracy, compliance, and client service.
Required Qualifications
- Active NMLS license is required
- Minimum 5 years of mortgage loan officer assistant, processing, underwriting, or origination experience
- Proficient in DU/DO, LP, and investor guidelines
- Experience with major LOS platforms
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organization, prioritization, and time management
- Ability to collaborate across departments
- Completion of regulatory and compliance training
