Job Summary
Interview applicants for home loans, conduct pre-qualification and pre-approval, and gather supporting documentation while completing regulatory disclosures. Input application data into Loan Origination Software and utilize automated underwriting systems to obtain credit recommendations. Quote interest rates, secure pricing through the Secondary Marketing Department, and manage the loan pipeline to verify accuracy. Maintain existing and generate new referral business by educating REV FCU staff and participating in community outreach functions. Acknowledge and abide by REV Policies and Procedures while communicating loan status to all internal and external parties.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience originating Conventional, FHA, VA, Jumbo loans
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of real estate lending criteria, compliance, federal/state regulations
- Excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficient with loan originator systems
- Proficient with AUS (LP, DU, GUS)
- Realtor relationships and book of business

- Encompass Software experience
- Prior builder experience
- First time home-buyer experience
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Proven track record of building and maintaining strong, professional business relationships
- Satisfactory credit record, bondable
