Job Summary
As a Mortgage Loan Originator, you will initiate the residential mortgage process, prepare and analyze mortgage loan applications for buying or refinancing real estate, and originate first and second mortgages through external sourcing. Key responsibilities include conducting member interviews, explaining mortgage types, reviewing applications, identifying cross-sell opportunities, maintaining member relationships, keeping up with market trends, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. A Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field, along with 3+ years of relevant experience and required licensing, is necessary for this role.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years mortgage loan, sales, or related experience
- Experience with FHA, VA, Fannie Mae, construction loans, bridge loans, and reverse mortgage loans
- NMLS and State Licensing required
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
