Job Summary
Originates mortgage applications and conducts interviews with loan applicants through online, phone, and in-person channels. Gathers documents to support approval decisions, reviews closing disclosures with members, and enters applications into the origination system while pulling credit reports and tax assessments. Examines borrower applicants for credit extensions in accordance with underwriting policies, processes real estate loans including secondary market standards, and acts as a liaison to third parties such as appraisers and attorneys. Meets assigned sales and service goals while adhering to Member Service Standards and assisting staff with training and monthly reports.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- at least two years related experience and/or training in real estate lending
- equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field
