Job Summary
Develop referral contacts with realtors, builders, and professionals. Maintain knowledge of Fifth Third Mortgage Company's policies, loan products, and underwriting guidelines. Collect applicant documentation, complete Fannie Mae form 1003, and transmit loans to LOMAS. Manage the pipeline for originated loans through closing while completing required management reports. Communicate timely updates to branches and applicants to maintain high customer service levels. Attend Consumer Lending meetings as required by management. This position requires S.A.F.E. Act registration and operates within Willoughby, Ohio.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS)
- Knowledge of conventional and/or government lending guidelines
- Knowledge of residential mortgage processing, underwriting, and closing procedures
- Knowledge of federal lending regulations governing real estate lending
- Demonstrated organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Demonstrated teamwork and customer service skills
- Proven computer skills
- Basic sales technique skills
- Strong desire to excel in a competitive environment

- Four-year college degree
