Job Summary
The Mortgage Loan Originator is responsible for originating residential loans, including 1st and 2nd mortgages, through outbound calls and client communications. This role requires generating loan volume, maintaining knowledge of loan products, and delivering exceptional customer service. Candidates should have a minimum of 1+ years in mortgage sales, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and must hold NMLS registration. Strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to manage a loan pipeline effectively are essential. The position may involve travel between facilities and requires compliance with SAFE Act registration.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1+ year’s mortgage sales experience preferred
- Demonstrated high level working knowledge of residential conventional/government mortgage processing, underwriting, and closing guidelines
- Experience and previous success in a telesales/call center/lead generation environment is preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, Word. Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- NMLS registration required
