Job Summary
Originate residential mortgage loans by conducting borrower interviews, evaluating financial documents, and educating clients on available products. Submit complete applications to the processing team for approval and underwriting while maintaining accurate records in the loan origination system. Ensure timely follow-up with clients, processors, and underwriters to facilitate smooth loan closings and meet established productivity and quality goals. Maintain knowledge of current lending policies, compliance standards, and industry trends. This role reports to the Mortgage Branch Manager or Sales Manager within the Mortgage Sales department at Texana Bank, N.A., located in Keller, TX.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid NMLS license as required by state and federal regulations
Desired Qualifications
- college coursework or degree
- Previous experience in mortgage lending or financial services
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with loan origination systems and Microsoft Office tool
