Job Summary
Mortgage Loan Originator responsible for managing mortgage production pipeline, developing and executing external sales plans to generate new business, and building long-term relationships with local realtors, builders, and community partners. Educate home buyers on the mortgage process, leverage Encompass for loan origination, ensure compliance with RESPA/HMDA/TRID and Fair Lending practices, and maintain ongoing communication with clients while cross-selling bank products. Must develop relationships with internal partners, participate in Realtor/Builder associations, and stay knowledgeable on bank products and services to support growth and customer success.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma (GED) or equivalent skills and abilities
- Minimum 5-year experience in a mortgage-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of financial institution products and services
- Active NMLS License ID or able to obtain NMLS license ID
