Job Summary
This position is responsible for originating mortgage loans while ensuring compliance with policies. Key responsibilities include interviewing applicants, completing loan applications, managing loan pipelines, quoting rates, and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Candidates must have an active NMLS#, at least 1-year relevant experience, and possess strong interpersonal skills. A high school diploma is required.
Required Qualifications
- Active NMLS#
- At least 1-year experience originating VA, FHA, Conventional and VHDA loans
- Proven sales record based on closed loan production
- Sources of referral business for purchase transactions
- Awareness of FNMA/FHLMC, FHA, VA and VHDA underwriting guidelines
- High degree of personal integrity
- Self-motivated
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Working knowledge of Encompass origination software
