Job Summary
Develop mortgage loan business by expanding internal and external referral sources and using consultative selling techniques to advise clients on loan options and financial products. Provide excellent customer service from approval through closing by working with loan origination sources to secure and verify information required for underwriting. Advise customers on completing loan applications and maintain strong client relationships within the community. This onsite role in Augusta, GA requires one or more years of mortgage loan origination experience, an NMLS license, and knowledge of mortgage procedures, documentation, and underwriting guidelines. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One or more years of mortgage loan origination experience
- NMLS license
- Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Pipeline and book of business
- Knowledge of mortgage loan products (conventional, FHA/VA, construction lending and portfolio programs)
- Knowledge of mortgage procedures, documentation, and underwriting guidelines
- Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities to cross-sell financial products and services
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task
- PC - Internet skill
