Job Summary
Mortgage Loan Officer - Retail Community onsite role in Columbus, OH. Responsibilities include developing mortgage loan business through internal and external referral sources, building and maintaining community relationships, and using consultative selling to advise clients on mortgage loan options and other financial products. Provides excellent customer service from loan approval through closing, coordinates with loan origination sources to verify information for underwriting, and maintains client relationships. Advises customers on completing loan applications. Requires knowledge of mortgage loan products (conventional, FHA/VA, construction lending and portfolio programs) and ability to cross-sell financial products. Education: high school diploma or GED; 1+ years mortgage loan origination experience preferred; NMLS license required. Exempt status; office-based with possible flexible arrangements per hiring team guidance.
