Job Summary
Originates Mortgage loans in compliance with policy; interviews and pre-qualifies/pre-approves applicants; collects documentation and disclosures; maintains referral pipelines; quotes rates and secures pricing; inputs data into LOS; uses AUS for credit recommendations; communicates loan status with customers and parties; manages loan pipeline; mentors other loan officers; participates in company/area events; trains real estate agents; collaborates with brokers/managers; adheres to AML/BSA; engages in community outreach; performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Active NMLS#
- Has at least 1-year experience originating VA, FHA, Conventional and VHDA loans
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proven sales record with closed loan production
- Sources of referral business for purchase transactions
- Awareness of FNMA/FHLMC, FHA, VA and VHDA underwriting guidelines
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
