Job Summary
Prospect home lending business to build new client loan originations and relationships, then originate and process targeted family residential real estate mortgage transactions. Provide clients with detailed information on mortgage options, interest rates, and terms while gathering documents and serving as the primary point of contact through closing. Maintain high standards of client satisfaction and loan quality by navigating the home mortgage process from application to closing, providing strategic advice on repayment terms. Develop deep knowledge of KeyBank products and maintain proficiency on sales/originator systems to control workflows efficiently. Work in a branch environment four days a week, participating in morning huddles and end-of-day debriefs, while managing partnerships with real estate agents and financial advisors.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field
- 3+ years Experience as a loan officer in 1st mortgage production
- Working knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, TIL regulations, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, RESPA regulations, local and state real estate and finance laws
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle
- Must be able to lift 10 lbs
Desired Qualifications
