Job Summary
As a Mortgage Loan Officer at HomeServices Lending, LLC, you'll guide clients through the mortgage process while sourcing business from real estate agents and other referral partners. Responsibilities include promoting mortgage solutions, advising clients on loan programs, analyzing financial data, and originating residential mortgage loans in compliance with regulations. You will manage client applications, communicate proactively with all involved parties, and strive to achieve production and service goals. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, over 2 years in mortgage-related roles, and an active Mortgage Loan Originator license.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of experience in mortgage sales, processing, or underwriting
- Proven sales and customer relationship management experience
- Strong communication skills, including phone and social media engagement
- Active Mortgage Loan Originator license through NMLS, meeting all state and federal licensing requirements
- Ability to travel locally for business development and client meetings (reliable transportation required)
- Knowledge of conventional and government loan guidelines or the ability to learn quickly
- Ability to analyze client needs and recommend appropriate mortgage solutions
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently to achieve production goals
