Job Summary
Develop and expand referral sources by maintaining regular contact with realtors, builders, and developers, including visits to open houses and job sites. Collect and analyze applicant financial information to assess qualifications, interview customers regarding income and assets, and recommend appropriate mortgage terms based on their specific needs. Perform loan originations by obtaining credit data, completing paperwork, and ensuring all documentation adheres to regulatory compliance while communicating progress to customers. Engage in persuasive sales activities to cross-promote company financial products and follow up via telephone and email to ensure loan conformity. This fully commissioned role operates on a hybrid schedule from Hagerstown or Boonsboro, MD, with a requirement for NMLS registration.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 or more years Recent residential mortgage lending experience to include experience in the local market
- 1 or more years Proven ability to develop referral sources from contacts and relationships outside the organization
- Must be registered in the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the Fulton Mortgage Company Associate Mortgage Loan Officer Program
