Mortgage Loan Officer

Job Summary
Develop and expand referral sources by maintaining regular contact with realtors, builders, and developers through office visits, job site meetings, and trade shows. Collect and analyze applicant financial information to assess qualifications, interview customers regarding income, assets, and credit history, and recommend mortgage terms that align with their specific needs. Perform loan origination duties including obtaining financial data, completing paperwork, following up via phone and email, and ensuring all documentation meets regulatory compliance. Communicate continuously with customers to explain the process and cross-promote other financial products. This full-time, hybrid role is based out of Severna Park, MD and is fully commissioned.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 or more years Recent residential mortgage lending experience to include experience in the local market
- 1 or more years Proven ability to develop referral sources from contacts and relationships outside the organization
- Must be registered in the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the Fulton Mortgage Company Associate Mortgage Loan Officer Program
