Job Summary
Develop residential 1st mortgage loans from application to closing for outside referrals, including collecting documentation, completing URLA applications, and managing the loan pipeline through underwriting and closing. Collaborate with sales leadership and Senior Loan Originators to master agency guidelines, processing, pricing, and escalation protocols. Maintain knowledge of Fifth Third Mortgage Company policies, available loan products, and departmental guidelines while adhering to S.A.E. Act registration requirements. Complete all required training on time and participate in sales meetings, calls, and training as directed. Manage applicant expectations and provide timely status updates to branches and applicants while ensuring compliance with risk appetite and One Bank objectives.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS)
- Proven computer skills
- Basic sales technique skills
