Job Summary
Mortgage Loan Closer performs full-service mortgage loan closing duties including preparing closing document packages to meet underwriting, investor, and compliance requirements; addressing title objections prior to closing; maintaining timely communication with involved parties; coordinating closing timing with bankers to meet contract dates and lock expirations; verifying checks and general ledger entries for accurate accounting; prioritizing workload to maximize efficiency and production; and assisting with other duties as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Word, Excel, DU, DO, LP, origination software, basic internet skills
- Professional communication skills, ability to prioritize multiple tasks, work independently, desire to learn and contribute, able to work in a fast paced, stressful environment
