Job Summary
Mortgage Fulfillment Specialist at VyStar Credit Union supports the Mortgage Origination and Fulfillment Department. Responsibilities include monitoring the online mortgage application system for first mortgage, HELOAN, HELOC, and other loan types; completing loan file setup; determining loan status; sending initial disclosures and redisclosures; ensuring disclosures meet federal, state, and NCUA guidelines; communicating with members about rate options, appraised values, disclosures, and application assistance; handling document review and distribution via electronic, USPS, or FedEx; coordinating with internal teams on taxes, insurance, payoffs, and title orders; participating in testing and process improvements to streamline mortgage workflows; and maintaining risk and regulatory compliance within the department. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, NMLS Mortgage Loan Originator certification, and 2+ years of relevant customer-interaction experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment are required, with capability to work overtime when needed.
