Job Summary
Review, verify, and validate required underwriting documentation for mortgage applications in adherence to corporate guidelines. Collaborate with underwriters and funders to identify inconsistencies, correct data entry errors, and manage an assigned pipeline to ensure timely progression. Complete employment verifications, maintain clear notes, and escalate inaccuracies or compliance risks per company policy. Communicate directly with originators and internal contacts to process transactions efficiently while maintaining strong audit results. Submit completed files to Quality Control and Funding promptly.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience with mortgage products, specifically in relation to documentation review, customer service, administration processes, funding, and legal documentation
- Concise attention to detail
- Tenacity to complete the task properly
- Strong computer skills, including a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel products
- Ability to learn new systems quickly
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
- Manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of quality on all deliverables
